In a few weeks, Death by Polish’s 1 year anniversary will be here! It’s nuts to think how the past year has gone by. During DBP’s first 12 months, Lauren and I have really enjoyed being able to share our ever growing infatuation of nail polish with more than just each other. It’s been a blast and a great outlet to discuss our hobby with all of you. (And be able to justify all of our spending on nail polishes for the good of the blog, right?)
We hope to keep our current readers and gain new readers that share our seriously crazy obsession. Personally for me, DBP has been somewhat of a rock and helped me to enjoy something in my days or when I needed to take my mind off of things. I’ve also discovered how much I truly enjoy blogging. No matter how I feel, blogging about polish for you guys has always been awesome. I hope to continue to connect with many people in the nail community.

DEATH BY POLISH pick your poison 
My all time always seem to go back to polish shade is OPI Pompeii Purple. Been wearing it for eons on my tooties. I can spot anyone who has it on over similar almost like dups with my good eye for that shade.
Really excited about the 1 yr anniversary of DBP! WOW!!! So very true in your title for the blog – “A dangerous addiction.” I learn at times to curb my wants vs. needs. However, I am always looking, trying to keep up with what’s new. I have way too many shades. But after thinning them a couple times, then getting into the secondary market and seeing what I gave or donated away, I feel like I have a HUGE investment like some fab ancient Barbie collection and don’t want to blow it ever again by thinning out another shade again only to find that I want it back! Kind of like pre MP3 with our CD’s and thinning those out!
I am getting into Frankenpolish of late – my new thing. Started with layering, now into full on mixing!
Hope all the super polishes that you are going to give away in your anniv. PRIZE find happy homes! I know I would be jumping for joy to have any of ’em!
Congrats on your blogiversary! Choosing my favorite polish is HARD.It’s a tie between Zoya Ki, Zoya Edyta and Zoya Faye. (Why yes, I do love Zoya polishes, hehe.)
My all time favorite is Poodle Pink from OPI – not the most adventurous color, but certainly one of the most wearable. 🙂
This is hard – but my favorite nail polish is Opi “Cozu Melted In The Sun.” I really like the way it looks – especially in the summer with a tan!

OPI’s Russian Navy is the go to polish in my collection, if I don’t know what color to wear, I know I can count on it too look good 🙂

My favorite polish I own is…gosh it’s hard to choose. But I think I would say Orly Viridian Vinyl. I love the color and the finish. It’s my go-to for toes and I love it on my tips as well!

Hi! I don’t have a TON of nail polishes, only a large shoebox full, but if I had to pick, I’d probably pick…OPI DS Signature? Followed up by China Glaze QT, Absolutely Alice, Zoya Charla, Gloria, and Tiffany.

my all time favorite polish is Diamond Cosmetics~Hypnotic ..pure awesomeness in a bottle.

My favorite nail polish is Zoya’s Charla. It is the color that I reach for most often when I am having a hard time making up my mind.
Great giveaway and congratulations! My favorite polish has to be Essie’s Mint Candy Apple. It’s perfect for spring, summer and winter!
if i HAD to choose, i think it would be OPI Kennebunk Port. It is the right amount of red without being a true saucy red.
I ADORE OPI Kennebunk Port too! It just works for me. I get more compliments when I have that on (esp fall/winter) over most other shades. If you like Kennebunk Port, you should look for a bottle of OPI Little Red Wagon. It’s got a blue base to its red cream as well – not as port wine as KP, but it’s the other cream red that really works well for me. Little Red Wagon is from the 2008 Holiday Toyland collection. There are a couple of good shades IMHO in that collection – like Brand New Skates, Baby It’s Coal Outside, Don’t Toy With Me & Sheer Your Toys. It’s one of my fav OPI holiday collections.
My favorite nail polish would have to be OPI’s Linkin Park After Dark. Perfect dark color! Happy one year anniversary!
My favorite tends to change on a regular basis, but the one I always find myself coming back to is OPI’s Lincoln Park After Dark. Happy blogiversery!

I have a lot of nail polish but the two that are like my favorite would have to be “Flip Flop Fantasy” by China Glaze which is a really neon pink and then I also love “Pearl Of Wisdom” by OPI. Its like a pearly color but very sheer and i LOVE ITTT!
I really took to Pearl Of Wisdom as well too. I don’t usually even pay attention to bottles that look white. I went through the 80’s when we ODed on the old formula type of frosts and all the whites, nudes, silvers etc were popular. I never recovered from those frosts. Thank goodness the industry found new ways to deal with a similar type of formula to frost but with a pop such as POW has. I keep a couple bottles of it around to gift.

My all time favorite new polish is Essie Sweet Talker. The quality and color from essie are very nice :DD
Happy anniversary dolls! My favorite is probably Zoya Caitlin (only because I technically don’t own MAAH…yet.). It’s a great edgy neutral that I feel comfortable wearing to work and get lots of compliments on when I’m out and about.
All time favorite is Essie Aruba Blue. My husband actually picked it out, but I keep reaching for it.
It’s hard to have a favorite, but one that I wear more than any other is Maybelline Pink Opal. Got it at the dollar store!

My favorite polish, the one I keep going back to, is China Glaze “Shower Together”. It’s the first CG I bought, and there’s just nothing bad about it. Great formula, great color, and it wears beautifully!
My all-time favorite polish is China Glaze’s Bogie, from the Fall 2010 Vintage Vixen collection. I got it as soon as it was out, and I’ve worn it so many times since that I’ve lost count. It’s my comfort color.
I stumbled upon nail polish blog purely by accident but now I am obsessed. I started with maybe 7 last month and I now have about 35. My fav at the moment is SH Blue Away. I’ve worn it at least 3 times when I have so many untrieds.
My favorite nail polish of all time must be Essie’s Lilacism. Found this lover 2 years ago!

My favorite nail polish is OPI’s Dim Sum Plum.
I like this one a lot too. I have had it in my hand a couple times and put it back. I have it’s close cousin on my piggies right now – “I Ate Berries In The Canaries.” I bet you would like that OPI one if your favs is Dim Sum Plum. I think you made my mind up for me – DSP needs to come live at my house! I am a sucker for purple/pinks in the fuchsia range. But I wear a HUGE wide variety of shades.
My favorite polish ever has to be China Glaze For Audrey. Not only because it’s a nail-community classic, but for my love for Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and Tiffany Blue. This also is an amazing color on my skin tone, and has a super emotional connection to me, as it was my first China Glaze polish and it was my Aunt Colleens last manicure, on her last day she asked me to paint her nails. :’) I’ll always keep that bottle as it was. (I bought three new ones ;D)

Liquid Euphoria- Euphoric. Hazy purple with an intense duochrome green shimmer that shifts to a royal blue. Only have a 1/3 left. so sad.

Austin-tatious turquoise by O.P.I. is my favorite of all time. First off, it is named after my home town so I kinda have to love it. Secondly, it has the most amazing duo-chome I’ve ever seen. I can’t stop looking at it when ever I wear it.
